From Singapore to Bangsar South

Seven years on, a new city, and the same feeling we had at the very beginning — that the best is still ahead.

Opening our doors in Kuala Lumpur felt less like a launch and more like a long-awaited gathering. The response was so generous that one night simply wasn’t enough, leading to two evenings of celebrations. It unfolded just as we’d hoped: intimate, serendipitous, and unhurried, giving our guests the time to explore every corner and find their own favourite spot in our new home.

The energy was set from the start by a lion dance — uproarious, and impossible to watch without a smile. From there, the space settled into a warm, effortless rhythm. Our office quiz added a playful edge, with questions rooted in the architectural details guests had just explored. It was a joy to see everyone paying such close attention to the small touches we’ve worked so hard on, made all the more spirited by the generous prizes from our sponsors who helped make the nights so special.

By the second evening, as the sun dipped behind the South Bangsar skyline and bathed the studio in that golden Kuala Lumpur light, a yum seng rang out that seemed to echo forever. What began as a formal toast grew into a collective celebration, capturing a moment of genuine connection that perfectly mirrored the spirit of our new home.

These were the people we most wanted to celebrate with. Industry friends who have shaped this city’s creative landscape. Collaborators who understand that the best workplaces are built on trust as much as talent. A design community in Malaysia that has reminded us why we believed in this market long before we ever set up shop here.

That belief hasn’t wavered. If anything, being here — in the room, in the city, in the middle of it all — has only deepened it. Malaysia’s design industry is vibrant, ambitious, and ready, and our team of workplace design and fitout veterans is here to grow alongside it and contribute meaningfully to what's being built.
