FRAME-Worthy: KL Earns Its Silver
Conexus Studio Kuala Lumpur has been awarded Silver at the FRAME Awards — an international recognition that marks a major milestone for our growing regional studio.
Presented by Amsterdam-based FRAME magazine, one of the world's leading voices in architecture and interior design, the FRAME Awards celebrate outstanding design from across the globe. Each year, more than 1,000 entries are evaluated by an international jury spanning Innovation, Functionality, Form, and Eco-Social Impact, and we're honoured to be recognised alongside some of the world's best interior designs.
Our KL office was conceived as a Living Lab, not a conventional fit-out, but a space designed to evolve, tested and shaped through the everyday rhythms of real work rather than built to a fixed brief. At its heart is The Commune, a hospitality-inspired social hub that moves effortlessly from quiet morning café to full town hall, setting the tone for a workplace that adapts to its people rather than the other way around. Every material choice, from locally sourced terrazzo to a team-handwoven artwork layering sky, rainforest and archipelago, roots the space in place and in the people who use it daily.
This recognition reaffirms our belief that great workplace design starts from within, and that when we build spaces that reflect our own values of collaboration, culture, and craft, it shows. We're excited to keep pushing boundaries across every project, and we can't wait to share what's next!
