Bathed in natural light and enriched with biophilic detail, Marvell’s new office at Tai Seng Centre redefines the technology-driven infrastructure workplace as a people-first ecosystem. Designed and built by Conexus Studio, the office balances technical functionality with human warmth, creating an environment where collaboration fuels innovation and where agility shapes each spatial decision.
More than a workplace, it is a crafted environment where aesthetics and practicality converge. Each design gesture was made not only for its visual clarity but also to spark creativity, support collaboration, and adapt to the evolving rhythms of a dynamic workforce. The result is a workplace that is both intelligent and inviting, versatile enough to accommodate multiple functions, yet anchored by thoughtful precision.
A moment of celebration — Marvell, CBRE and Conexus came together at the reception area to mark the successful transformation of the new office.
Human-Centred Sophistication
From the moment of arrival, the workplace conveys an atmosphere of openness and ease. A timber-lined reception paired with soft lounge seating sets a tone closer to hospitality than corporate formality, a deliberate gesture that prioritises people over symbols and mirrors Marvell’s belief that technology gains meaning through the human connections it enables.
Rather than relying on overt branding, Marvell’s identity is expressed through materiality, tonal restraint, and the orchestration of spatial flow. This understated yet assured design language creates a sense of timelessness, while remaining unmistakably attuned to Marvell’s forward-looking, people-centric ethos.
Agile Spaces That Inspire
At the heart of the office lies a multipurpose work café, serving both as a social hub and an event forum. Designed for agility, modular furniture allows the space to shift fluidly from casual dining to town halls, workshops, or community gatherings. A living green wall and generous daylight provide a restorative counterpoint to the high-tech edge of Marvell’s business, reinforcing the idea that innovation thrives where energy and calm are held in balance.
This spirit of adaptability extends beyond the central hub. The training room features operable partitions that allow the space to shift seamlessly between two configurations — a 14-seat setup for focused discussions or a 28-seat layout for larger seminars and training sessions. This versatility ensures the space can support a range of activities while maintaining comfort and efficiency. It also mirrors the responsiveness essential to the technology infrastructure industry, where precision and adaptability must coexist.
Designed for Interaction, Grounded in Comfort
Throughout the office, spaces are thoughtfully composed to support both focused work and spontaneous collaboration. Nooks and corridors encourage chance encounters, while well-placed collaboration zones spark creative dialogue. Clear sightlines, acoustic treatments, and integrated technology enable teams to connect effortlessly, allowing ideas to move freely across desks or even continents, all while comfort and efficiency remain in balance. Each design choice reflects a deliberate intent: to cultivate a culture where collaboration is not just possible, but intuitive, dynamic, and in harmony with the pace of innovation.
“What we enjoyed most about this project was resolving the tension between a highly technical workplace and a genuinely human experience. Every decision, from how spaces divide and recombine to how light, colour, and material guide movement, was made to support focus, collaboration, and change without visual or operational friction. The result is an office that performs with precision, yet feels calm, intuitive, and distinctly people-first.”
