As a leading global online brokerage expanding across emerging markets, IG Asia saw its Singapore headquarters as the cornerstone of future growth. Previously split between two CBD offices, the team worked in separate units that limited collaboration. The move to a larger, consolidated space at Singapore Land Tower marked more than a real estate upgrade; it reflected IG’s move towards a digitally driven future. The new workplace embodies this shift with an efficient, technology-rich and sustainable environment designed for connection and growth.
Designing with Precision and Purpose
As the appointed design and build partner, Conexus Studio approached the project by examining the many facets that define IG Asia — the seamless minimalism of its trading platform, the youthful dynamism of its team, and the vibrancy of its iconic red.
The brand’s red appears in calculated variations throughout the space — in upholstery, trims, and striking moments of contrast — creating visual rhythm without overpowering the eye. Grounded by a bright neutral palette, the office maintains a professional, clean, and timeless aesthetic.
A biophilic framework anchors the environment in human-centric comfort, integrating low-emission materials, abundant daylight, and curated greenery. Together, these elements form a workplace ecosystem that operates intuitively and feels alive, one that supports focus, collaboration, and wellbeing at every turn.
Welcoming Movement and Momentum
Creating a striking first impression, the oversized red IG logo set against a lush living wall immediately draws the attention of any visitor. This dynamic visual cue opens into a gently curved aisle along the flexible boardroom, guiding visitors toward a bright and convivial work café. Along the way, cosy nooks in maroon and light wood invite moments of pause beneath the glow of a neon “Champion the Client” sign, a reflection of IG’s service-driven ethos.
Within the café, a generous splash of red animates the bar area, infusing the space with warmth and energy. Overlooking the Marina Bay skyline, it’s a vibrant retreat where a spectrum of seating — from bar counters and café tables to upholstered booths and lounge corners — encourages movement, conversation, and choice. Here, the team can unwind, recharge, and connect, a welcome counterbalance to the fast-paced nature of brokerage work.
Elevating People and Performance
Ultimately, at the heart of IG Asia’s new workplace is a deliberate focus on people, productivity, and performance. The office layout balances efficiency with comfort, offering ample circulation and well-planned zones that cater to current needs while allowing room for future growth.
Soundproof focus pods occupy the centre of the workspace, offering quiet sanctuaries for deep concentration. The flexible boardroom transforms easily between formal meetings and collaborative sessions to ensure adaptability, while a dedicated podcast room supports seamless recording and content creation. Every element has been designed for functionality, flow, and comfort, creating a workplace that not only enhances performance but also scales with the team.
