Precision in Simplicity: Dassault Systèmes Future-Focused Workplace

As Dassault Systèmes continues to expand its regional footprint, the move to Southpoint is a statement of intent: a stronger CBD address, and a 12,934 sq ft floor plate that finally matches the organisation's ambitions. With a focused, largely in-office culture and a compressed delivery timeline, the brief was direct, a workplace that feels unmistakably Dassault, built not just for where the team is today, but for where it is heading.

A Clear Statement

For a company whose tools help the world design and build, the workplace begins the same way every great project does — with a clear canvas. A luminous white envelope, a single signature blue, and a palette that works through texture rather than gesture create a space that feels open, unhurried, and full of possibility.

From across the room, the tones read as one. Move closer, and the surface shifts reveal themselves — quiet variations that reward attention without demanding it.

The Social Core: The central hub commands the best view on the floor and earns every square foot of it. Transitioning effortlessly between boardroom, training space, and pantry, it anchors the office, serving equally as a gathering space for guests and a polished landing point for visiting global staff.

In the Zone: With an in-office culture, the planning keeps workflows intuitive, placing meeting rooms alongside workstations to support focused collaboration. Two collaboration corners are defined by an acoustic ceiling feature that combines wayfinding, acoustic performance, and a restrained expression of Dassault's signature blue.

Designed to Endure

With sustainability central to Dassault Systèmes' vision for innovation, the workplace was designed to reflect the same commitment through thoughtful, lasting interventions. Rather than treating sustainability as an added layer, the design integrates responsible choices into the fabric of the fit-out, balancing environmental performance with longevity, functionality, and everyday comfort.

A Responsible Fit-Out: Reused furniture cuts carbon impact without compromising the aesthetic, while presence sensors, lighting timers, and green–certified materials support Dassault's LEED Gold aspirations.

People at the Centre: Wellbeing is built in quietly: height-adjustable desks oriented toward unobstructed city views, and a communal planting area that gives the team a reason to gather beyond work.

What set Conexus apart was the discipline they brought to every stage. Before we had even committed to a location, they assessed several options for us through site analyses and test fits — initiative that shaped our decision early on. As the project progressed under a tight timeline, their design team worked closely with our global designers and various stakeholders, navigating detailed revisions with patience and precision. The result is a workplace that communicates our brand identity quietly but unmistakably, a space we're proud to bring clients and colleagues into.
